Does this sound like you?

You're the person everyone calls when they need real help.

You walk into a room and know who's hurting before anyone says a word. Friends finish a conversation with you and say, "You should do this for a living."

And you want to. You've wanted to for years. But every time you get close, the committee in your head calls a meeting.

"Who am I to call myself a coach?" "What if I say what I'm sensing and I'm flat wrong?" "Can I really make a living doing this, or is it an expensive hobby?"

So the gift stays parked in the driveway with the keys in it. Another year of free sessions at the kitchen table. Another year of undercharging the one time someone does offer to pay. Another year of watching people with half your instincts build the practice you keep sketching in your journal.

Your intuition isn't unclear. It's untrained.

Here's the good news. Nobody taught you this because, for a long time, there was nowhere to learn it. Reading energy, trusting what you sense and turning it into a coaching session that actually helps someone is a skill set. Skills can be trained.

First, let's define it

What is intuitive coaching?

Most coaching works with what a client can tell you. Intuitive coaching also works with what they can't: the information sitting below their conscious mind that's still shaping every choice they make.

  • Skeptics write intuition off as nothing more than good pattern-spotting, the knack for connecting dots other people miss.

  • Others shrink it down to fluffy, feel-the-vibes nonsense where you read messages into things that aren't there.

Both miss what's actually happening.

So how does it work?

Intuitive coaching runs on non-local intuition, which means picking up information from beyond your own body and memory. You've felt it. You know a friend is hurting before she calls. You walk into a room and feel the argument that just ended. Every human has this capacity. Most never learn to use it on purpose.

The Sovereign Method teaches you to open your intuition and trust it as a powerful skill that you and your clients can count on, every time.

in·tu·i·tive coach·ing(n.)

A coaching approach where the coach is trained to sense unconscious information held in a client's energetic field and work with it through three steps (notice, interpret, communicate). This gives the client insight they couldn't reach on their own.

Notice

Through your five intuitive gateways, you sense the emotional and energetic information moving under the conversation.

Interpret

You explore what it means symbolically, archetypally or metaphorically, using the six-part Sovereign Interpretation Matrix as your guide.

Communicate

You offer it with care, so your client gains insight and stays the authority on their own life.

Why it matters

What research says about using intuition to help others.

People who study helpers (therapists, nurses, coaches) keep landing in the same place.

It's a mark of mastery.

The more experienced the practitioner, the more they rely on intuition. Beginners follow the script. Seasoned pros read the room.

Without it, transformation goes missing.

A session can go perfectly by the book and nothing shifts. The moments that change people tend to come from something the practitioner sensed, not something they planned.

It's fast, and it's sophisticated.

Intuition isn't a lazy shortcut. It takes in more than the thinking mind can hold at once and hands you the answer in a heartbeat.

Spirit belongs in the room.

Clients want to be met as whole people, including the sacred parts. Practitioners who make room for that go deeper.

The good news is that it can be trained. Almost nobody trains it, though. Coaching programs teach questions, frameworks and active listening, then leave the most powerful tool in the room to chance.

Intuition isn't a side interest for "woo" coaches. It belongs at the center of how you coach, and Sovereign puts it there.

The hard path most intuitives take

Each road takes forever and only gets you halfway there.

The Cookie-Cutter Training

Lackluster training over a three-day “weekend intensive” that taught you how to ask questions from coaching scripts generated by ChatGPT. To add insult to injury, you were then told to leave your intuition at the door, because “that’s not professional.”

It feels like driving with one eye closed after being pepper sprayed in the face.

The Overly Spiritual Training

You had a beautiful weekend in the foothills of a gorgeous mountain somewhere, and it definitely cracked something open within you. That’s great. Except then Monday rolls in and looks exactly like Friday, because nobody showed you how to run a session, hold an ethical line or charge for your time.

It feels like being dumped on your birthday for somebody 10 years younger.

The Do-It-Yourself Training

YouTube, podcasts, free sessions for friends and a website you built before you knew who you were serving, much less what you were doing. Years of trial and error, a lot of money spent on the error part… and you still don’t feel confident.

It feels like holding up a paper umbrella in the middle of a Florida hurricane. It’s not causing any harm, but it’s definitely not doing any good.

Heather Alice Shea seated in a black dress, smiling

Hi, I’m Heather

I know this road because I drove it with the parking brake on.

In 2012, a medical crisis cracked something open in me. Over the next eight months, I learned to sense and read energetic information in the people around me. The gift showed up. The instruction manual did not.

There was no training for using intuitive and empathic skills with clients. I was scared as hell to call myself a professional intuitive coach. I had no idea how to package or price what I did, and I couldn't find clients to save my life. I started my business with a $35 ad and a $99 IKEA chair, and plenty of nights wondering if I'd lost my mind.

So I built the training I wish I'd had. Along the way I earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and practiced under licensed supervision, because I wanted the science underneath the intuition. Today I'm a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 25 years of coaching experience, and I've taught more than 10,000 students.

The Sovereign certification is everything I've learned, organized into a path you can actually walk.

Your intuition is real. Now it gets a method, a structure and a business behind it.

Before you choose a training

What most coach training programs miss.

You’ve probably felt it already. Maybe you sat through a training that was all worksheets and goal ladders, and your gut kept whispering there’s more going on here. Or you learned a beautiful energy technique, watched a client cry and release, and then saw them walk back into the same patterns two weeks later. Neither of you could explain why.

That isn’t a failure of your gift. It’s a gap in how most coaches are trained.

What’s lacking in the world of coach training

A drawer full of modality “tools”

NLP, tapping, hypnosis, meditation, law of attraction. Good tools, all of them. But a drawer full of tools doesn’t teach you which one the person in front of you needs, or why.

Business as an afterthought

A bonus module tacked on at the end, as if clients will show up on their own once you’re certified. They won’t. Your business skills deserve the same care as your coaching skills.

One person’s road, sold as a map

“This worked for me” makes a great story. It’s a shaky foundation for a profession. You deserve a method that has been tested across hundreds of clients and many kinds of problems.

Left brain, right brain, or both?

Most coach training relies on one approach. Sovereign gives you both.

Compare
Traditional CoachingLeft brainRight brainMostly left brain: logical and linear
Modality CoachingLeft brainRight brainMostly right brain: energy and feeling
Sovereign Intuitive CoachingLeft brainRight brainLeft and right brain, working together
Works mostly through
The head: logic, strategy, accountability
The energy: feeling, body, technique
Both. Intuition leads and logic walks beside it
What happens to the problem
It gets talked about, but not processed
It gets moved, but not understood
Integration: it gets felt, understood, befriended and freed
How deep the transformation goes
Conscious thoughts and surface behavior, with no felt experience
Below the surface, but with no conscious integration
Through all six aspects of being: emotions, thoughts, beliefs, choices, actions and energy
What the client leaves with
A plan that sounds good, but is too grueling to stick to
A release they can’t explain, so the issue returns
A lived experience and a new story they can live each day
Why the change lasts (or doesn’t)
Insight fades because the root issue never shifted
The old story pulls them back because the mind didn’t come along
Body, mind and heart agree, so there’s nothing to go back to
Role of intuition
Sidelined as “not evidence-based,” dismissed, or treated as an afterthought
Used without training, or embedded in the technique instead of the coach or the client
A trained, research-informed, reality-tested coaching skill, used with care and intention
Who holds the authority
The framework
The technique
The client’s own inner knowing. Their own power, reclaimed.
You become
A strategist with limited ability to create impact
A practitioner of one modality who can fix a narrow range of issues
A powerful, professional coach who can meet any client on any issue!

Lasting change needs both head and heart.

All head, no heart

Insight without feeling

When a client understands their pattern but never touches the wound underneath it, the insight sits on top like oil on water.

All heart, no head

Feeling without understanding

When they feel the wound move but their mind has no idea what just happened, the conscious mind does what it's built to do. It reaches for the old, familiar story, because familiar feels safe.

Head and heart together

The body has to feel it. The mind has to make sense of it. Sovereign does both in the most easeful way imaginable.

Introducing

The Sovereign Intuitive Coaching Method™

A potent blend of humanistic psychology, parts work and metaphysical science, rolled into one method.

Four steps

Go within. Then rise back up.

Tap any step to see what you do and what your client experiences.

Your intuition lights the path. Your client stays in charge the whole way.

Here’s what makes Sovereign different

Most coaching asks what went wrong. Sovereign asks the question nobody else asks:

“Who within you has this problem?”

To change your client’s outer world, their inner world has to shift first. And that inner world is more than a pile of thoughts, feelings and beliefs. It’s an identity.

Every stuck point is a part of your client that got pushed aside long ago. That part is still trying to protect them, using a strategy that made sense once. The strategy didn’t fail. It expired.

Identity ElevationWhen you’re finally able to move toward your future potential, and away from your past and pain, creating the life you want gets so much easier.
A real Sovereign moment

I had a client who was losing three to four hours a day to naps she couldn’t explain. She beat herself up about it every single day, calling herself stupid and lazy. Coffee, hard workouts, meditation. Nothing kept her awake.

In our session, she talked with the part of her that desperately wanted those naps. She discovered it resented how hard she pushed herself, and how much that pace took out of her. She thanked that part for showing her she deserved rest, and deserved to be looked after like someone truly cared for.

She never took another four-hour nap again. And she finally learned what real self-care feels like.

And for you

No more sessions where you’re guessing what to ask next. No more watching a breakthrough fade by the following week.

You’ll stop worrying whether you can really help, whether a session will overwhelm you, or whether it’s worth the money, because you’ll know exactly how to get your clients where they need to go.

See it in a real session

Watch a client meet the part of himself he’d been fighting.

Josh wanted the confidence to leave his job and do creative, intuitive work. Something kept pulling the brake. Watch how intuition finds that part of him, and how logic helps Josh understand what it has been trying to do for him all along.

Imagine…

It's six months from now.

  • You open a session and something tugs at you, a heaviness in your chest that isn't yours. A year ago you'd have swallowed it. Today you name it gently, and your client goes quiet, then says, "How did you know that?"

A client message: $50,500 since joining Atmana
  • You introduce yourself at a dinner party as a certified intuitive coach, and your voice doesn't wobble.

Louise Fuster: This week I sent out my first ever invoice. I'm officially in business!

A client message: I just signed my first client for a $3,500 package
  • Your offers have names and prices. When someone asks how to work with you, you send a link instead of a nervous paragraph.

A client message: I used Heather's roadmap question process and he signed up right away for a 3 month package at $3,000
  • You finish a session with energy left over, because you know where your boundaries are and how to hold them.

Questions students asked before enrolling

Frequently asked questions

How much time will this take?

About 3–5 hours a week: five live calls a month, your practicum sessions and the modules. The Program Roadmap has rest weeks built in.

Do I need coaching experience?

No. Tier 1 starts with the foundations: ethics, session structure, listening and feedback. If you've trained before, it sharpens what you have and gives you the intuitive layer most programs skip.

What if I'm not intuitive enough?

If you're reading this page and nodding, you're picking things up already. Intuition is a learnable skill that grows more accurate with training. Tier 2 exists to build it, step by step, with research-informed techniques.

What certification will I earn?

Two: Certified Sovereign Intuitive Coach™ and Certified Intuitive Coach, issued by Atmana Academy. The curriculum is written in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies. However, it is not accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) or any other accrediting body.

Will I get clients?

Nobody can honestly guarantee that, and we won't. What we can promise is the path: from week 5 you follow the Free Sessions to First Paid Clients Framework, with 44 posts, scripts and a mentor coach, so you're coaching real people and learning to convert them while you're still in the program. Your results depend on the work you put in.

I'm a therapist or counselor. Is this for me?

Many of our students come from clinical backgrounds. Sovereign trains you as a coach and adds the intuitive skills most clinical training leaves out. It doesn't qualify anyone to provide therapy.

Is this too woo for me?

Heather teaches intuition as a skill that works within known mind–body systems, backed by research. If you want mumbo-jumbo, you'll be disappointed.

What if I miss a live class?

Every class is recorded and organized in the Sovereign Replay Vault. Class times vary, so replays are built into the plan.

When do I start?

Right away. You get instant access to the membership site, the full curriculum and your New Coach Orientation.

Can I pay over time?

Yes: 8 monthly payments of $750. Pay in full ($5,497) to save $503 and receive the VIP Bonuses.

What's the refund policy?

All enrollments are final and non-refundable. That's exactly why we offer calls: book one, ask everything and decide with your eyes open.

Head and heart in the same room

Intuition scouts ahead. Logic carries the lantern.

Right brain · leads

The scout

Your intuition goes ahead into the parts of a client they’ve forgotten: the younger self still holding the hurt, the protector who never got to rest.

Left brain · assists

The lantern

Your logical mind follows close behind. It names what the scout found, connects it to the client’s real life and helps them build something new from it.

Scout first, lantern close behind. Neither one gets lost.

Two roads from here

You can stay where you are. Or you can turn the key.

You can close this tab and keep the gift parked in the driveway. Keep telling yourself next year will be the year.

Or, six months from now, you could be certified, trained in a method that reaches the root of what your clients carry, and already working with real clients, with a practice in motion and people who've had your back the whole way.

I built Sovereign for the person who has always known there was more to this. If that's you, I'll see you in class.
